Description:
This course is for anyone interested in becoming a firearms instructor. This course will cover the legal and liability aspects of being a firearms instructor. It will also teach the student how to break down a pistol and a shotgun and how to teach someone to shoot.
Students will go through drills, both dry and live fire. Students must be able to detect when someone is a problem shooter and explain the problem and how to fix it. Students will be placed into the role of the instructor and have to run courses of fire on the live range.
Supplies needed:
• Training Clothing
• Vest, Duty Belt, Rifle
• Eye/Ear Protection
• 3 magazines minimum
• Hand-held flashlight
• 250 rounds of handgun
